Church of San Bernardino in Valera
It is the oldest church building in Arese. Built on the wishes of the Lattuada family in 1558, it stands on a pre-existing structure, possibly of Romanesque origins with numerous renovations made in later centuries. A canvas hangs on the central wall showing The Madonna with Baby Jesus and the Saints Bernardino Francesco and Margherita with two donors. On the right hand wall is an interesting Baptism of Jesus Christ dating from around the end of the Sixteenth Century, with Venetian ancestry and clear derivations from Gaudenzio Ferrari and Lanino. The valuable wooden statue from the first half of the eighteenth century showing the Madonna del Rosario, is also worth a mention. The facade has eighteenth century features. Simple interior with three naves, the two minor ones were added at the start of the XX century.

     Oratorio San Rocco
In Piazza Libertà, which is the geometric centre of the historical quarter of Trezzo, stands the oratory of San Rocco, probably built following the plague epidemic in 1576. In the 18th century, the building, comprising one room with a rectangular presbytery, was enlarged with the addition of a pillared porch and a large wooden altar that covered the fresco of Saints Rocco, Sebastian and Ambrose on the far wall which was brought to light only during a restoration carried out in the 1980s.

  •  Oratory of S. Antonio
The archdiocesan villa includes St. Anthony's Oratory, commissioned by cardinal Monti. In 1638, Giovan Mauro della Rovere called "Il Fiammenghino", frescoed the interior with stories of St. Anthony of Padua.

Oratory of Saints Ambrogio and Caterina
The building, which is a notable example of a 14th century Lombardic oratory, was commissioned by Ambrogio Birago and his wife Caterina degli Amizzoni, and built between 1363 and 1367. Its decorative painting is a good example of the artistic style which developed in the environment surrounding the court of the Viscontis. Of noteworthy interest is the representation of saints Ambrose and Catherine, the stories of the lives of the Virgin and of Anna and Joachim, the Universal Judgement and the stories of Adam and Eve, which show a great realism.
  •  Oratory of Saints Aquilino and Carlo
Once prospectively included in the Villa Benzi gardens, the St. Aquilino and Charles oratory was build in 1699 by Cristoforo Benzi. The altar houses a Madonna with Child by Legnanino.

     Oratory of San Giovanni Battista
The external church structure is characterized by typical terracotta bricks, while the inside displays colourful frescoes completed in 1492. The paintings, which some attribute to the Giotto school, depict the Story of St. John the Baptist, the Four Founders of the Church, the Annunciation, the Adoration of the Magi, the Crucifixion, and the Final Judgement. The building structure continues in style similar to those seen in Saint Cristoforo sul Naviglio Church in Milan; especially the small fountain which was clearly inspired by the Milanese church.

     Oratory of San Pancrazio
Already existent during Cardinal Carlo Borromeo's pastoral visit in 1573 and Cardinal Pozzobonelli's visit in 1747, it was in a poor state. Its care lay in the hands of the aristocratic Paleari family. It was completely restored in 1832 by the Simonetta family.

     Oratory of San Rocco

     Oratory of San Rocco Vecchio
The Oratory of San Rocco Vecchio or San Rocchino, also known as the Addolorata is a small brick building and was the first headoffice of the Disciplinati di San Rocco fraternity. Its history is tied to the history of the plague of 1524.
  •  Oratory of St. Giuseppe
Built on the area of the ancient S. Dionigi Church, it is located on the left side of the parish Church. It was built just before 1741, at the expense of the Abbot Giuseppe Rancati. It was partially rebuilt after 1895 on the wishes of the parish priest Francesco Bianchi. On the side wall to the right is a stone slab commemorating the foundation of the building and on the left is the funeral Monument of Carlo Villa, Milanese authority and benefactor of the parish Church, who died in 1846. The neogothic niche, decorated at the bottom with an aristocratic crest and eucharistic motifs, with a pointed arch end that houses the bust of Villa in the centre of the lunette, was created by Abbondio Sangiorgio in 1859 and, in the overall eclecticism, is a good reflection of the strong link between the sculptor with classic culture and his slow passage towards pure, romantic shapes.

Oratory of the Madonna del Carmine
The church, founded by the brotherhood of the same name, was mentioned for the first time during Pope Pius VI's papal brief in 1794, although both the architectural structure and some of the furnishings already preserved inside, still reflect eighteenth century stylistic features.
