Museum Houses

Milan’s museum houses introduce the public to an entire period in history narrated by the people and the works that once characterised it. The Poldi Pezzoli Museum is precious proof of the ‘private collecting’ that developed during the course of the nineteenth century. The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, with its precious renaissance collections is considered to be one of Europe’s most important and best preserved house museums. Villa Necchi Campiglio, a house museum dating from the thirties, represents the pure elegance of a rationalist villa in the heart of Milan.
