Aquarium and Hydrobiological Station

Situated in a beautiful art nouveau building it is one of the oldest aquariums in the world. It houses 10 tanks which contain about 150 different marine and freshwater organisms, both tropical and mediterranean. A spectactular transparent "bridge" tank allows visitors to admire the many different fish species from every corner. The very large museum's multimedial library is one of the most important in Italy.
