"Antica Osteria Rampina" Restaurant
A beautiful osteria built inside the stables of an old sixteenth century farmstead, considered a bulwark of Lombard tradition. The furniture is characterized by classic wood tables and simple straw chairs. Along with the outside side armour distinguished by bricks and mortar dating back to the seventeenth century they create the perfect setting, giving that particular atmosphere of a typical country osteria. The careful selection of raw materials brings out the dictates of local tradition with typical dishes, homemade desserts, cold cuts and cheeses from the area. In order to create culinary poetry and bring out the flavours of the dishes served, particular attention has been given to the choice of wines, carefully selected from Lombard production, ranging in area from the Oltrepò Pavese area to the borders of Mantova. The classical Regional specialties such as tripe, "riso al salto" (crunchy rice patty), "pasta e fagioli", "pesciolini", fried frogs, "stracotto" (stew) and "resumada" made with barbera wine are prepared by the chef's expert hands.
