  •  "Santa Maria in Campo" farmstead
The Santa Maria in Campo farmstead has ancient roots. It is believed that it dates back to 1200, when it became a settlement of the Humiliati, a religious order that flourished in the Lombardy region during the Medieval period. The 1772 cadastral blueprints document an architectural style similar to the one seen today, whereas originally the farmstead was a single complex. Despite the refurbishments carried out over various historical periods, the farmstead still maintains the distinguishing characteristics of this type of settlement.

You can learn about the roles of the various figures in the life of the farmstead - the hunting guard, the obligors, the attendants... - as well as the functions of the various buildings.
  •  Cascina Baitana
The farmhouse has always been part of the farming land linked to the town of Gaggiano, probably with Seventeenth century open courtyard; it also had a mill, and traces can still be found of pieces of stone outside the head of the main building. It is still an active farm and maintains relations with the farming countryside that separates it from the built up areas of Gaggiano. The pathway leading to the Madonna del Dosso leaves from the farmhouse.
  •  Cascina Belpensiero
The historical centre of Dresano is home to the ancient Belpensiero farmstead, its yard preserves an age-old plane tree. The farmstead was mentioned in historical documents as early as 1500 and is still surrounded by fields 1 km from the town. Each year in May a traditional track event "Quater Pass per un Vitel" winds its way through the area. The race is organised by Gruppo Sportivo Marciatori San Giorgio (patron saint of the town), where the biggest group receives a live calf as the prize, as the name of the races suggests (vitel, or vitello, is calf in Italian).
  •  Cascina Campazzo - Parco Ticinello

  •  Cascina e Molino Cantalupo
The Cantalupo farmstead and mill are south of Bonirola on the road that leads to the Grande farmstead. The two settlements are on the eighteenth century Teresiano land registry maps that also include two mills, one on and one off the farmstead. The one that can be seen to the right of the road belonged to a Milan monastery. This was probably due to intense rice cultivation, forever present in this area, and the considerable water flow of the Cassana river. A path to the Madonna della Capella del Dosso leaves the Cantalupo mill, connected by the Bonirola path.
  •  Cascina Fabriziana
The Fabriziana is also called the "Cascina Rossa". It is half way between Pregnana and Rho and is shaped in a semi-circle. In ancient times the bread for the entire Pregnana population was cooked in the large oven here. It is characterized by large arched porticos.
  •  Cascina Follazza

The scheduled initiatives involve many of the bird-watching groups that visit the area of the Agricultural Park.
