Municipal palace
Onto the main piazza in Abbiategrasso, there is Palazzo Pretorio and Town Council that still houses the Town Council.
Fine workmanship is seen over the main entryway, staircase of honor, and the upper storey balcony which contains baroque stone carvings and detailing. The tower has a town bell that dates back to 1716. The changes made to the building around 1750 were to make the name of Francesco Croce, the builder of the main spire on Milan's Duomo.
