"Il Sole 24 ore" headquarter
The construction, completed in 2005, is an example of low energy-use development. The industrial structure was thoroughly refurbished to house the financial publication group "Il Sole 24 Ore". The new building, designed by Renzo Piano, maintained the reinforced cement foundation, and used steel frames to add new floors. The glass fašade gives a clean light feel to the building, allowing a see-through view out to the green courtyard in the centre of the complex.
