The fashion quadrilateral is a magical place, where the dreams proposed by the most prestigious fashion shows become reality. In this wide intersection of streets, between one shop and another, we find the city's most visited and most representative monuments.

Just a stone's throw from the Cathedral is the beginning of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, the pedestrian street lined with bars, cinemas, bookstores and clothes shops.

Corso Vittorio Emanuele ends in Piazza San Babila, an area which is surrounded by testimonies to post-war architecture.

Taking Corso Matteotti from Piazza San Babila will lead you to via Montenapoleone, the heart of the famous fashion quadrilateral.

At the end of via Montenapoleone we reach via Manzoni.

Half way up via Manzoni, in the direction of Piazza della Scala, if we take a left we come to Piazza Belgioioso, where we can admire the imposing Palazzo Belgioioso, built in a neo-classical style by the architect Piermarini.

If we proceed beyond piazza Belgioioso and walk along via Morone, we will come to piazza Meda, dominated by the facade of the Chase Manhattan Bank.

From here, taking via Adalberto Catena, on the right, on the corner with Largo Mattioli, we come to La Casa degli Omenoni, located in the street that goes by the same name.

If we venture beyond largo Mattioli, we will reach Piazza San Fedele, where we find the Church of San Fedele and Palazzo Marino.

Taking a right into via Marino, we find ourselves in piazza della Scala, where we can admire the splendid Scala di Milano, one of the world's most prestigious lyric theatres.

On the other side of the square is Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, one of Italy's largest and most beautiful arcades.

The Galleria opens out into piazza del Duomo and from here, the last stage of our itinerary is easily reachable, piazza Mercanti, the heart of the city's administrative and political pole.
