Cycle Route: Canale Villoresi
A fast link among the various municipalities crossed by the Villoresi canal, the no. 40 cycling piste offers an easy path which can be cycled by anyone and most definitely offers picturesque views.
Built to the sides of the small, medieval districts present, the canal allows you to reach beautiful historical towns, on short diversions, in districts situated around the cycling piste.
Currently, the Villoresi flows into a big urban area, with certain sections of it covered by sections of houses, roads and sheds and it represents a unique testimony of age-old, rural history. Its route also opens onto large, green windows such as Roccolo Park and Groane Park. You should however remember that the Villoresi Canal is subject to various periods of draught, which obviously means the cycle is less picturesque.
