The portal has been designed in accordance with Law 9/1/2004 no. 4, "Provisions to aid access to information technology tools by disabled people" and the Ministry for Innovation and Technology’s Decree of 8/7/2005 to establish "Technical requirements and various levels for accessibility to information technology tools".

The code for the developed templates is standard XHTML 1.0 recommended by W3C. CSS has mainly been used in order to obtain better separation of contents from their graphical representation and for greater accessibility.

The 22 points on the technical check-list specified by current legislation have been observed.
